Amelia Island Book Festival engages adults and young people in the joy of reading and writing through a series of public events featuring New York Times best-selling authors, independent publishers and authors, awards programs and workshops. Author Richard Ballo will be on several panels discussing book publishing and the book business.

Venice Book Fair and Writers Festival is a unique event, featuring writing and publishing workshops, and a special day when local and national authors sell and sign books at a festival market in a beautiful downtown Venice, Florida park. Author Richard Ballo will be exhibiting at the event.

This free event includes a dozen children’s book authors signing their books, live readings of the authors’ books, hands-on activities about how food grows and vegetable gardening, planting summer vegetable seedlings to take home and grow, craft making, a scavenger hunt, and more.
